Labor Day Weekend Camp-out, Hike, and Swim

Hi Trailfolks-

How do like that title? I try to give every post a title that will help me remember what it was about when I look back thru the years.   So this one is the Labor Day Weekend Camp-out, Hike, and Swim. Now to business.

Cost: $25 dollars per person.

What It Covers: Five meals and admission to Cold River Campground’s swimming pool.

When: Labor Day weekend starting at 6pm on Friday (Sept. 1) and ending around 1pm on Sunday (Sept. 3)

Where: Eaton Brook Camp Site (The one behind Steve Page’s property. Text/call Steve for more complete directions.)

Activities: Saturday’s activities include a hike at Sunkhaze Meadows (see link below) and swimming at Cold River Campground’s swimming pool. There will be a church service on Sunday morning.

Misc:  Menu and Packing List will be covered in an upcoming post.

meeting cancellation

With many of the leaders and dads attending Calvary Chapel Men’s Conference, we decided that it would be best to cancel the meeting scheduled for this Saturday (Aug. 26).

In other news, please stay posted for more information about the Labor Day Weekend Camp-Out, Hike, and Swimming Party. Menu, cost, and directions to the camp site will be included. Hope to see you there.

Simple Reminder

Hi guys-

Here is another one of those annoying reminders. This week’s (Aug. 12) meeting is on the usual day and at the usual time. We will meet at Crossroads Christian Camp.

Remind the boys to bring their swimsuits and towels.  Hopefully, the weather will be nice enough for swimming.

Getting It Right

Trail Lifers-

Eventually, I will get the whole posting thing right.   Apparently it looks different, when I preview my work, than the post you receive.

If you click on “TrailLifeME-0316” at the bottom of any post you get from us, it will take you to our homepage.  The link to the calendar is at the top of the homepage

Again, sorry about that.

I Know That You Check The Calendar

Trail Folks-

I know that you check the Troop’s calendar (available on this page) regularly but I don’t feel that I am doing my job unless I send out these little reminders.:)) So, today’s reminder…this week’s (Aug 5) meeting will be held at East Eddington Community Church rather that Crossroad Christian Camp. We will see you at the usual time.
