Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

Greetings, Trailmen-

This is going to be a busy weekend.  Many of you will be traveling to be with families, celebrating Thanksgiving – and we hope you have a great time enjoying your family traditions! But…if any of you are around town and available this Saturday, I’d like to invite you to join us at Eaton Brook for a dutch oven meal in the great outdoors. What could be better than sitting around the campfire for some fellowship and food?

When: Saturday, November 25

Where:  Eaton Brook campground (park at Steve’s house and walk to the site)

Time:  2:30 pm until ????

Cost:  $8 dollars per FAMILY


  • Stew
  • Rolls
  • Cocoa
  • S’mores
  • Secret Dessert

What to Bring:

  • appropriate clothing for the weather
    (think chilly, uniform shirt not required)
  • bowl and spoon
  • insulated cup/thermos/mug (for cocoa)
  • camp chair (tree stumps available upon request…)

Saturday’s Flag Pick Up


Here is the info for this Saturday’s (11-18) Flag Pick Up.

Where:  We will meet at the East Eddington Community Church

What:  We will be visiting the Eddington cemeteries and picking up the flags that mark veterans’ graves.

What Time:  Starting at 2:30 pm until we are finished.  We are hoping that we will be done by dark.  I hope that will equal the usual time our meeting would end.


  • Dress for the weather
  • Bring a flashlight
  • We will provide cocoa at the church after we are done
